Anderson Springs is a 140-year old community tucked and hidden beneath the Mayacamas Mountain ridgeline, four mile from Middletown. Years ago quaint rustic cabins, several hotels, medicinal springs and hot baths, towering trees, beautiful creeks, hunting and fishing, excellent weather and quite seclusion were the reason people came to this unique corner of Southern Lake County.

The Anderson Springs community

Now Anderson Springs exists as a residential community dominated by modest two bedroom cabins, remodeled vacation homes, and newer two-story houses. The Springs has been a retirement haven for some third, and forth generation owners, a summer get-away for others, and an affordable first home for many of the younger residents. Homes are primarily clustered on small lots of varying configurations along one of four creeks, or on hillsides, roads or draws. There are also multi-acre parcels scattered around the community.
